I included a 5% recovery record when I compressed the file.

I actually bought this from Renderosity and liked it so much that I decided to give it to all of you!

Description: The HMS Victory is most famous for her role as the flagship of Admiral Horatio Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. One of the oldest commissioned warship in the world, she currently lies in No 2 Dry Dock at Portsmouth Naval Base in England under going restoration.

This model is my attempt at a recreation of the ship as she looked just prior the Battle of Trafalgar. The main reference used to build the ship was the book \"The 100-Gun Ship Victory - Revised Edition\" written by John McKay.

This is the 3DS version of the model that I have displayed in the 3D Max gallery. The images below were rendered with the 3DS model imported into 3D Max R3.

To use this model, you will need a 3D program that can import 3DS data files. Most major 3D programs have 3DS import ability, but the user should make sure that the program they are using has this feature before purchasing this model. The model has been successfully imported into Amapi, Carrara, Vue d\'Esprit and Bryce. Note: This model CANNOT be imported into Poser as supplied.

The model is broken down into several parts to allow the user to set up the ship in various levels of detail and sailing configurations. The ship\'s cannons and gun port covers can be shown in an opened or closed position. The wind blown sails and flags can be displayed in either high or low resolution. In addition, high or low resolution studdings sails can be shown deployed in combination with the regular sails. A complete set of high resolution furled sails and draped flags are included as well to provide total flexibility.

The basic ship with rigging, low resolution sails and flags is around 64K faces in size. With the high resolution options installed, the polygon count can reach as high as 180K faces. The model also comes fully textured with approximately 3 MB of bitmaps in JPG format.

For some reason, when I wrote where you can get more detailed info about this, it just simply said Daz3D.

However, here is the exact page where you can find more info: http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=6382
