Are you using a PC or MAC, 32bit or 64bit operating system, which operating system? What country are you from or what is your native language?
Daz3D has their own YouTube channel and other people also have DAZ tutorials posted there.kmthrong like this post.Last edited: Don_k 25 March 2015 - 14:44Don_k

you need to extract them to your runtime, get a free zip program i recommend 7zip http://www.7-zip.org
example my default path for Daz content is C:UsersPublicDocumentsMy DAZ 3D Library
i would open the zip file and highight the Runtime folder nd hit extract, then choose C:UsersPublicDocumentsMy DAZ 3D Library in order to extract into.
There is 2 types of zip files you will run into, one that has poser runtime content, which usually has Runtime as the main folder and inside is the other folders. Or you may run into a Daz content zip file, which when you open it it hs Content as its first folder, you just go inside the Content folder and extract all in there into your Runtime directory..
Once you have successfully extracted the content into an existing runtime, you will see your item available in your library.
check this out this might get you in the right direction.

Did you load Genesis 2 Female figure before loading the character?
Load G2F first, then Teen Josie, then character for Teen Josie, the load skin texture, clothing and textures, hair and texture, then any propsLast edited: Don_k 26 March 2015 - 07:11Don_k

I'd go with Don_k and Mac's answer on that. The only times I get that message is when I forget to select an Item before trying to change textures.26 March 2015 - 07:26 / #10
