Why does it always seem that swamps get the nastiest, meanest, most vicious critters? Well, the Helligator is no exception. Though related to such ordinary crocodilians as the alligator and the ghaurial, this beast is a throwback to other ancient beasts as well. Its powerful legs propel it on land even faster than its broad, plated tail sends it through the water - and its strong arms can hold its prey fast as its savage jaws feast. And so thick is its armored hide, that few weapons there are that can draw its black blood.

Oh, and remember, it's not just the swamps that have to worry about the Helligator - it is also known to inhabit mighty rivers, and supposedly even alien worlds, as well!
